Grab the ATS 3099343416 Stage 3 6R140 4WD Transmission Package from Spooled Up Performance for your vehicle today. The 6R140 was released to replace the previous 5R110 unit. The 5R110 was previously used in both the 6.0 and 6.4 Ford diesel engines. When Ford released the 6.7L Power Stroke it also upgraded to the 6R140 transmission. The Ford 6R140 transmission is a robust transmission designed and manufactured exclusively by the Ford Motor Company. The transmission features a very deep first gear (great for towing and moving mountains) with double overdrive (excellent for fuel economy). This unit has a total of six forward gears with the ratios as follows: 1st gear 3.974:1, 2nd gear 2.318:1, 3rd gear 1.516:1, 4th gear 1.149:1, 5th gear 0.858:1, 6th gear 0.674:1.

Main 6R140 Gear Box:
The 6R140 transmission requires many upgrades for it to hold up to the Power Stroke mighty 6.7L Power Stroke engine. Not only does the factory transmission fail on trucks with minor upgrades, but even trucks in stock form have been known to be too powerful for the stock transmission. A heavy-duty truck needs parts which can stand up to heavy trailers, stop-and-go commutes to work, or high-horsepower applications. That's why ATS modifies the transmission to make it the strongest and most reliable part of your drivetrain. With the many shortcomings of the 6R140, none are more important than the clutch packs. This is what takes the power and transmits it to the rear wheels. ATS increases the clutch count in the 3-4 and overdrive clutch packs which allow much higher torque capacity in each gear. Clutch material is also essential, which is why they use a combination of BorgWarner and Raybestos clutch packs, which have both high torque strength and longevity and reliability.

Pump Assembly:
The factory pump on the 6R140 often fails from the loss of lubrication pressure at the converter hub support pump bearing due to failure of the bearing seal. When the bearing fails catastrophic failure can and will occur destroying the transmission. ATS bearing support ensures normal operation back to the pump.

The Deep Pan:
The ATS 6R140 Transmission Pan for your 2011-2019 Ford Super Duty 6.7L Power Stroke provides increased fluid and cooling capacity for the automatic transmission in your truck. Built from heavy-duty T6 cast aluminum and powder coated with machined cooling fins, these pans will look great and perform for the lifetime of your truck. This transmission pan is a bolt-on replacement and will hold 6 quarts of fluid over stock with an overall height of 5".

Product Returns

Product Return Policy

  • Returns must be packaged securely in an outer carton
  • Do not write on the product packaging itself. Write only on the outer shipping carton.
  • Packages received without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the outer carton will be refused.
  • Returnable items must be received by SUP within 30 days of the product being received by you the customer. (determined by tracking number)
  • Returned product must be in new, re-saleable condition, with all original boxes, packaging, parts, cables, manuals, etc.
  • Upon receipt, all returns will be inspected, and, at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking fee of 5%-10% may be assessed.
  • Original shipping cost and shipping protection charges are non-refundable.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred to return products.
  • Products can only be returned for a refund, store credit, or an exchange for the same item. Product cannot be exchanged for a different part number.

Some Circumstances in which credit will not be issued but not limited to:

  • Product has been installed and/or used
  • Product has been damaged from an attempt to be installed and/or used
  • Product is shipped back without original box, manual and/or parts
  • Seal on electrical parts is broken
  • Product serial number does not match that of which was original shipped to buyer
  • Product is deemed not resell able by SUP due to customers own actions in dealing with the product

Core Returns

Core Return Instructions: STOP! Please read to avoid costly delays!

  • Step 1:  Verify the core will be received back within 30 days. (See Deadline)
  • Step 2: Fill out the Return Form.
  • Step 3: Wait for return instructions. SUP will email a return number (RMA) and a return shipping address. Many cores will be sent directly back to the manufacturer, so please read the instructions.
  • Step 4: Package the core. Good packaging prevents costly damage and/or the core being refused by the shipping carrier. It may be possible to reuse the box your original product came in. If not, use a box strong enough to support the product. Seal the product in a plastic bag to prevent leaks. Cushion the product with packing material and securely seal the package with tape.
  • Step 5: Attach the shipping label you have purchased (see return shipping policy) and write the return number (RMA) large and clear on the outside of the box.
  • Step 6: Ship the core.

Core Return Policy *** Important Please Read ***

Deadline: Core returns will only be accepted within 30 days of receiving the original product. After 30 days core credit refunds will be at the discretion of SUP.

Refund Policy: Returns made between 0-30 days are eligible for credit back to the original payment method used for the purchase. Credit may be full, partial, or denied based on the acceptance policy below. Please allow up to 4 weeks after the core is received for inspection and refund if accepted.

Return Shipping Policy: Core return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. SUP recommends using a carrier that provides package tracking and insurance. You will not be reimbursed for shipping costs incurred in shipping the core. SUP is not responsible for cores received damaged, freight penalties, and/or lost shipments.

Acceptance Policy:

 

  • No leaking fluids, all fluids must be drained, and the core must be sealed in a plastic bag. 
  • The core returned must be a like-for-like make, model, type, and part number.
  • Cores will not be accepted from a salvage or junkyard.
  • Cores must not be disassembled or have missing and/or damaged major components. 
  • Cores must be in rebuildable condition.

Core refund acceptance is at the discretion of SUP and the manufacturer/remanufacture or the original product. Failure to follow the above policy may result in partial credit and/or no credit being issued. If you would like a core returned that has been denied acceptance, you may request that within 30 days and pay for return shipping. Cores that have not been accepted and are unclaimed by the customer after 30 day will be destroyed and disposed of.
