Fitment: 2019-2023 6.7L Cummins
Most catch cans on the market today have universal fitment, which can be a headache to install. Most of them also require frequent draining, which can be quite annoying. We know we can do better, and people have been asking us constantly, so we decided to create our own 5th Gen 6.7 Cummins Oil Catch Can.
Most Catch Cans utilize a filter which forces you to wait until your catch can fills up or overflows. This is where our kit differs.
Our 5th Gen Cummins Oil catch can kit, works in conjunction with our CCV Delete to capture all the vented oil vapors from blowback on a micron steel mesh, and separate them. The oil rich air is put through an oil separator which condenses and drips the oil into the catch can reservoir. The air, water and other contaminants are vented to the atmosphere cleanly through an outlet filter.
Our kit utilizes the factory drain from the CCV. This reroutes oil from the catch can back into the oil pan and reintroduces it back into the system. Unlike the the many other catch can's on the market like the JLT oil catch can, ours doesn't have to be constantly drained, which is a big win! We also utilize a check valve in the return line, that way if your rig experiences crankcase pressure, it won't pressurize the system from both ends and spew oil all over your engine bay.
